NTT DATA Signs Multi-Year Agreement with Joyson Safety Systems

PLANO, TX – February 27, 2020 – NTT DATA Services, a recognized leader in global technology services, today announced a new multi-year agreement with Joyson Safety Systems (JSS), a leading global supplier of mobility safety systems. NTT DATA will implement SAP S/4HANA, hosted on Microsoft Azure, for JSS to accelerate its digital transformation journey.

JSS was established through the acquisition and merger of two global automotive suppliers. The formation of this new company enabled JSS to continue developing new and innovative life-saving technology, including airbags, seatbelts, steering wheels, and electronic safety systems and components that are used by automobile manufacturers worldwide.

JSS is in the process of integrating its diverse ERP platforms, enabling data transparency, standardizing business processes, and enforcing global standards. As part of the agreement with NTT DATA, JSS will focus on integrating its global organization that operates 66 sites in 25 countries to create the new entity while simultaneously harmonizing and modernizing its disparate business processes. JSS will also continue its journey to achieve a lean and competitive cost structure and deliver clients a set of global quality standards supported by global quality traceability.
